News: Accident disrupts traffic on I-49 in Washington Co.

WASHINGTON CO., AR – A Friday afternoon collision caused delays for motorists in Washington County.

According to a report by the Arkansas DoT, the crash occurred at about 12:30 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate, near Mile Marker 41.1

Few details about the collision are available at this time. However, at least two lanes were closed for some time afterward, causing significant delays in the area.

It is unclear if anyone suffered injuries as a result of the accident.
